From Concept to Finish: A Workflow Walkthrough on Set with Andrei Duman

with Andrei Duman

Throughout his work, Andrei has never shied away from pushing the conceptual boundaries or indeed the equipment used. He is driven by the desire to capture something different, something unique which quite often leads to some spectacular set stories. This process walkthrough will guide you through his initial shoot ideas, the preparation, the potential mishaps and mistakes made on set and how to avoid them and also the reasons behind his choice of equipment used.

Working in Two Worlds: Walking the Creative Line Between Fashion and

Wedding Photography

with Christian Oth

Christian Oth began his professional photography career in New York City years before he began shooting weddings. There are substantial differences between these two worlds; ranging from subject (your client at a wedding versus a model on set at a fashion shoot) to creative support (darting between guests on the most important day of a couple’s life versus the control that comes with being supported by an editorial team on set). He will discuss his techniques to bridge that gap and integrate the best of the pro photo world into the world of wedding photography. He will also share what he’s learned from weddings that can be applied to a fashion editorial shoot – because shooting weddings definitely sharpens your senses and influences a photographer’s ability to find the perfect shot in any environment.
